Contacting Loydson

When you email me or send an enquiry through the website, I use the contact details and description you provide to respond, prepare a proposal and continue our correspondence. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); for correspondence on behalf of a business, it may also be my legitimate interest in business communication (Article 6(1)(f)). I do not use these details for a newsletter or advertising.

Providing your details is voluntary. I need an email address and a description of your enquiry to reply. Simply typing into the questionnaire does not transmit your answers to Loydson; they reach me only when you send a message. Saving a summary creates a file on your device.

I keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any ensuing work, and then for a period justified by documenting our arrangements, applicable limitation periods for claims or legal obligations. Hosting and email providers acting for me may access the data, as may trusted specialists involved in a particular assignment where necessary.

How the website works

The site does not use analytics, advertising cookies or browser local storage. The hosting provider may process technical data, including your IP address and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. My legal basis is the legitimate interest in its secure operation (Article 6(1)(f)). The hosting provider retains technical logs according to its retention schedule.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email kk@loydson.com. You may also complain to the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). I do not make decisions about you solely by automated means or profile you.
